A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Maria has sung with the Russian Chamber Orchestra, has been a guest artist at the annual San Francisco Russian Festival and presents recitals of Russian Romances throughout the Bay Area. As a member of the Pacific Mozart Ensemble, Maria has collaborated with music legends Meredith Monk, Dave Brubeck, and Bobby McFerrin, and is a founding member of Opera Frontier, an innovative song and dance troupe that challenges stereo-types and pushes the boundaries of conventional Opera. As a teacher at Musically Minded, Maria’s focus is Classical, Theatrical and Operatic private instruction.
Degrees: Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Voice Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
