Vicky is the violin, viola and electric bass instructor of Musically Minded Academy. She has performed with members of Tower of Power, Santana, Buddy Guy Band, The Headhunters, Lakeside, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco and Grammy Nominees Manuel Romero and PC Munoz. Vicky is a master of both improvisation and composition and has 13 years of private lesson teaching experience on violin, viola and electric bass.
Degree: Bachelor of Music from University of California at Berkeley.
Awards: Yehudi Menuin Violin Scholarship 1977-1983, UC Jazz Scholarship 1990-1993 Honored with an Onions to Orchids acknowledgment for contributing to Oakland in a positive way in the MacArthur Metro.
