We have over 20 teachers available to teach private lessons to adults on many different instruments and styles for all levels of students, from beginners to professionals. Instructors set days and times that they offer lessons and may stretch and adjust those hours to accommodate that are particularly in-line with their teaching style and instructional mission.

Group Lessons

There are a variety of group classes and programs available at Musically Minded Academy. Some ensembles continue session after session with most students re-enrolling each time. New students are welcome to join these ensembles at any point, taking the first class for free and then enrolling with pro-rated tuition for the duration of the current session. We are also constantly forming new groups based on student interest. If you have a few friends and want to create a custom class like: group guitar, group piano, group ukulele, a small band, a vocal ensemble, a musical theatre class, or anything else you can think of, chances are, we can help you form it.

Online enrollment is available 24 hours a day in our online enrollment system. If you prefer, you may contact us during our administrative hours (Mon-Thu, 10-6 and Fri 12-4) to get enrollment assistance from our staff.

Ensembles

Adult Pop Vocal Ensemble

Musically Minded Academy offers multiple ensemble options for adults. Not to be confused with group lessons, where students learn to master and instrument, ensembles are groups where students who are proficient at their instrument get together to work on repertoire. Students also hone new skills in these groups as they become experienced with the nuances of working with other musicians as a team to create music.

Since Musically Minded Academy promotes education in many styles of music, our ensemble members get the chance to try different music genres. Group members also influence the choice of music that the group learns. Ensembles members often grow into musical friendships and the camaraderie that one feels as a member of these groups leads to their longevity. Usually, people who join our groups end up re-enrolling session after session.

We are also constantly forming new groups based on student interest. If you have a few friends and want to create a custom ensemble like: a small band, a vocal ensemble, or anything else, we can help you make it happen.

I cannot find a list of your classes or ensembles on your website? Do you have any this spring? If so how do I access a schedule from the website or can you send me one to my mailing address?
