We at Musically Minded aim to foster a life-long devotion to music and the joy that it can bring to the hearts of our students, both young and old.
You can be a part of our community by contributing to our mission, whether or not you know anyone studying with us; we rely on community support to thrive.
Help us make music: If you are unable to make monetary donations, we are in great need of instruments for the facility. You can help by donating pianos, music stands, and other instruments; know that these instruments will be used with great care and appreciation.
Help make our home comfy: With over $300,000 in donated funds, we worked with the building owners, contractors, sub contractors, acoustic architect and the city of Oakland to bring our building up to code and acoustically prepare it for our opening. Now that the foundation is ready, there are a few cosmetic changes left unfinished. As a community-oriented center, we strive to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where students and artists can learn the power and poetry of music. We hope to reach this goal by adding furniture, fixtures, hanging acoustic treatments, artwork, and covering the costs of our security key pad system, but we need your help! Help us complete our facility so these walls can sing!
Help us change lives: Love of music occurs naturally, and Musically Minded hopes to encourage this love by making these programs available to students who do not have the means to afford them otherwise.
