Adult students who wish to collaborate with other musicians and develop their musical language and communication can enroll in one of our ensembles or workshops. Whether you are enrolled in the basic program, drop-in lessons, or neither, you can still take part in any ensemble or workshop of your choice, as long as you meet the age and skill requirements.
| Group Guitar
Beginning Level:
In this ensemble, students will explore the guitar in a group setting, learning both rhythm accompaniment techniques and music theory. This is a beginning course, no experience is necessary, but it is helpful. Student provides his or her own guitar. | Intermediate Level: Mondays 7:30-8:30pm, July 11th – August 15th In this ensemble, students will explore the guitar in a group setting, learning both rhythm accompaniment techniques and music theory. Further development and refinement of basic skills. Introduction some more intermediate and advanced techniques. Students enrolling in the intermediate level class must have prior experience on guitar and understand basic chords/scales. Student provides his or her own guitar.
