Music Mind Movement

Music Mind Movement

This is a special 6 week long workshop taught by professional flute teachers, Amy Likar and Stacey Pelinka. Amy, a certified Alexander Technique instructor and Stacey, a certified Feldenkrais instructor, will guide students through exploring their movement habits to explore ways to free up their rib cages. Students will Experience:

  • dramatic changes in their playing.
  • greater ease in comfort in their practice and everyday life
  • freedom from right/wrong dichotomy that musicians often get stuck in.
  • dynamic process-oriented rather than goal oriented learning,
  • curiosity rather than judgment.
