More about our Basic Program Calendar:

Musically Minded Academy’s basic program calendar was designed to coincide with seasons, holidays, and other school calendars. Students transition comfortably into the new academic year at our very first event where they can play encore pieces in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Soon after, students are expected to present more polished pieces at our Halloween Recital, a performance which requires our musicians to stay focused and have a goal to work towards during the summer.

Following the spirit of the winter holidays, the Academy hosts a Holiday Party, and a Recording & Goal-Setting Lab. These events allow our students to reflect on their year’s work and set new aspirations for the coming semester.

In the spring our students progress through skills labs, ensemble classes, performance preparation labs, and rehearsals, before our program culminates in the June Recital, at which our musicians perform their most polished and successful pieces.
