Why Choose Drop-In Lessons?
Our a la carte program is great for players with developed practice skills and experience. In other words, this program best fits players at intermediate or advanced levels.
Because regularity of lessons and events are crucial to students in the initial stages of music study, we do not recommend this option for beginner students. Beginners, no matter the age, are highly encouraged to consider the Basic Program. Drop in private lessons work well for adult students with irregular schedules but well established practice habits.
Drop-In students may choose any Academy event automatically available to Basic Program students, on a case-by-case basis. Basic program students in the ensembles option, may enroll through additional ensembles through the drop-in program. Basic program students, either in Multiple Instruments, Basic Program or Creative Musicianship, may also enroll in an ensemble through the drop-in program.
